Hannah and I met at Central High School in the 9th grade. Over the years we would spend a lot of time together on the soccer field, running around being teenagers (mostly driving our parents crazy) and eventually becoming inseparable by Senior year. As we went off to College, we both decided to stay in Duluth in this place that was so special to both of us. As life happened and the years passed we weren’t able to see quite as much of each other. Fast forward to when Hannah started working at Fitger’s Brewhouse  – where my guy also worked – and we were able to see a lot more of each other and reconnect over wedding plans, backyard fires and craft beer.

When I was first introduced to Mark, it made perfect sense that these two had found each other. Their humor and generosity is matched in one another and they care so deeply about those around them. Laughter is never missing when they are with friends and everyone loves a gathering at their house – Mark and Hannah are the most amazing hosts! And her cooking, oh my goodness. Out of this world!

I was honored to be asked to capture their special love story, through engagements and on their wedding day. We couldn’t have asked for better weather or a better gathering of people to celebrate Mark and Hannah’s love for each other. We cried happy tears on the shore of Lake Superior in the morning ceremony, followed by toasts to the years ahead over mimosas and breakfast treats. We ended the night surrounded by friends and family at the Park Point Beach House and danced the night away in honor of such an amazing couple. Cheers to a beautiful pair, who I am so grateful to also call my friends. May you have infinite years of happiness, love and wild adventures together. Love you so very much, xo AJC
