You know when you meet someone and immediately you’re all “um hi – can we be friends?” Yep. That’s exactly what happened to me today. As a wedding photographer I communicate a lot with my couples through email. In the case of Dan & Bree, who live in the Twin Cities, I had not had a chance to meet them until today. And holy moly are they awesome sauce. I seriously have the most stellar clients ever!!
They drove up to Duluth for their engagement session & came up with the unique idea to have it in the Tweed Museum of Art on the University of MN Duluth campus. Thanks to the snowy weather we pretty much had a museum to ourselves for the afternoon (a photographer’s dream!) The first words they said to me were “we are so awkward”. Silliness. There is a reason I am behind the camera – I am the awkward one. (Seriously, my man hands tend to look like robotic planks) And just so you know Dan & Bree- you are kick butt at taking gorgeous photos! I am in love with this session, with all of their low saturation editing requests, and their wedding this summer – which I am sure will be nothing short of wonderful. These two laughed at my jokes and even gave me hugs – so I am smitten. Enjoy a sneak peek into their fun & flirty museum session!

ps: a HUGE thanks to the Tweed Museum of Art for allowing us to have such an amazing session in their beautiful space!!
